Lastly, I attached a photo of Traveluro's cancellation policy, pertaining to unsafe weather conditions,…obviously they do not adhere to. It is apparent that Traveluro could give a crap on the safety of their customers. Mind you, the state of CA is now under a State of Emergency! Furthermore, the customer service representative didn't note the correct name of the hotel I was booked with, which tells me that she didn't even read my email. Some of the satisfied customers leaving positive reviews say that they feel like they got good value for the money they paid. The customer service representative wrote back to me the following day, indicating that I did not request a cancellation request within a timely matter, ( two weeks prior to my arrival) and therefore I was not entitled to a refund. What are people saying about Traveluro Reading reviews, the scores are pretty decent, with a Trustpilot classification of 4, and 72 of customers' reviews giving a 4- or 5-star rating. Because I didn't want to jeopardize myself or my mother on our safety, I sent an email to Traveluro requesting a cancellation because of the severe weather and indicated in the email that severity of the cancellation. However this past January we have been hit extremely hard with unusual bad weather including flooding, and high winds. I purchased a non-refundable room, because I live in California, where our winters normally are mild. I booked a leisurely trip to Pismo Beach CA, which is located in Central CA., over a month ago.
